🐎 This ceramic horse was part of a set of figures depicting a procession, all of which was included in the tomb of a person of high rank. In ancient China tombs were equipped with all the items it was thought to be needed in the afterlife—including horses, as an essential mode of transportation.
Standing Horse is a tomb figure created during the Tang dynasty in China. In ancient China, numerous tomb figurines and other artefacts were designed specifically to be buried with the deceased in large burial mounds. This large figurine features the use of Sancai, a glazing technique popular during the Tang dynasty.
In 2023, my artwork pieces available for sale now exceed 1,200 individual and unique high quality photographs, patents, and computer designs. The breath of subject coverage covers from animals to transportation, all conveniently organized by Album Collections for easy search. Combining photographs and various computer rendering techniques, has allowed me to produce a very unique style in my final product. several hours are spent with each photo to produce - and obtain - just the right touch of colors and composition.
